I stumbled across this little snippet in the month's issue of Runner's World. It's labeled as 'Oddest Remedy' which may be true, but if you read the link below - Cabbage leaf is an amazing natural anti-inflammatory.

As it mentions, cabbage leaf has been used for 100 of years as an anti-inflammatory for joint pain.
I've also noticed that when I eat lightly steamed(or blanched) cabbage it keeps me hydrated. I'd put cabbage in the superfood category with all of its amazing nutrients.
So, next time consider a cabbage leaf instead of reaching for the ibuprofren or even better, add it to your daily diet and feel the benefits of eating a very light leafy green.
